An African Dream

An African Dream exists to educate, equip and transform the community of East Kasese.

We support several projects in the Kasese district in Western Uganda, including St Mark’s Primary School. We provide sustainable micro-enterprise opportunities for the local community and enable the training of local church pastors through our Bible College.

Here is a video taken from our trip in February 2023 we hope you enjoy! It gives a little flavour of the charity

Who

An African Dream is a Christian Non-Profit Charity based in Uganda, East Africa. The charity was set up in 2007 following a work that began 10 years before that. We have both a UK based team of volunteers and a team of people working in Uganda.

What

An African Dream seeks to provide education, health care, and micro-enterprise opportunities for the people of the Kyanya and Ibanda districts, and the surrounding area. We particularly want to serve and resource the most vulnerable in the community.

Where

An African Dream works with the communities living in the foothills of the Rwenzori Mountains. This is an extremely rural but a very beautiful, if rather forgotten, corner of Western Uganda, near to the border of Democratic Republic of Congo.
