Reverend Lumika Eric
Reverend Lumika leads the team that oversees the work of An African Dream in Uganda. He is the Director of St Mark’s School, and is also a supervisor (Bishop) of the Full Gospel Church overseeing the Kasese East District which has around 90 churches which serve a large region. He is married to Rebecca and they have 7 grown up children.

Reverend Lumika Rebecca
Rebecca is married to Lumika and has been involved in the work since the beginning. Rebecca is a gifted business woman and brings passion, ideas and wisdom to the work. She is also a pastor and encourages the women in the Full Gospel Church to reach their potential.

Mutegeki Wilson
Wilson is small in stature but nonetheless a mighty man of God! He is married to Annette and they have four children. Wilson oversees the Teen Development Ministry which works with Teenagers and he was also instrumental in the setting up of the Sanipad project, which he currently runs. Although Wilson wasn’t born locally he feels the call of God on his life to serve in East Kasese.

Reverend Johnson Yeghe
Yeghe was a close friend to Mark Wynter. He is a Pastor of a local church, a passionate evangelist and the bursar of St Mark’s school. He’s married to Jenet and they have 8 children.

Kabanza Eunice
Eunice is Reverend Lumika’s daughter and is married to Wilson with three children. Eunice oversees the tailoring project.

Elisha is the head teacher at St Mark’s school in Uganda.
Rebecca and Lumika
Lumika and his wife Rebecca have been involved with the work since the very beginning and continue to be central to all that we do. They have seven grown up children, several of whom play an active role in the work and lots of grandchildren too. Rebecca is a gifted business woman and brings passion, ideas and wisdom to the work. Samantha Pink - Chair of Trustees
Sam, has been a trustee since 2018, and took over the chair role in 2023, she first visited Uganda in 2016. She loves the people and particularly wants to see them grasp how much God loves and values them. She works as a youth and children’s pastor for her local church in the UK and loves walking her dog, drinking coffee and seeing her friends - sometimes all at once!

Dennis Preston - Secretary
Dennis, now a retired Quantity Surveyor, has been involved with An African Dream since its beginning in 2008. He is father to three children and has three grandchildren. Dennis loves to travel but he considers that where our work is centred in Kyanya is one of the most beautiful places he’s ever visited.

Hannah Littler - Treasurer
Hannah joined the team in 2023 as treasurer, she has experience of working oversees and has worked in finance since she graduated in 2003. We are really glad she has join the team - more info and photo to follow soon

Sophie Campbell-Wynter
Sophie set up and has been involved in the charity from the very beginning and is passionate about Uganda and it's people. She loves salt and vinegar crisps, puzzles and long walks. She is keen to see Ugandan people empowered through micro-enterprise businesses.

Liz Edmondson-Smith
Liz has had a career in special needs teaching and she became a trustee in 2010. She enjoys painting, singing, making educational games, walking and reading. She has two daughters and six grandchildren. Liz has enjoyed developing friendships in Uganda. She is particularly keen to see the development of education and life-skills training.

Rob Smith
Rob is married to Liz and between them they have 4 children and 6 grandchildren. Rob worked for 34 years in the military and in retirement enjoys keeping busy with lots of things including being an active member of his church. He has visited Uganda five times and thoroughly enjoys working with AAD as a trustee.

Trevor Cook
Trev became a trustee of AAD after meeting Sophie at his church in 2008. He has a heart to make a difference to AAD’s Ugandan community. Has a business head with a love for sport & fitness. His 3 visits to Uganda have cemented his ideas on how AAD can continue to raise up young leaders and new businesses, to build a God-centred sustainable future for the community.

Charlotte Callicott
Charlotte stepped down from being a trustee in 2022 but still helps us with the aspects of our work that include healthcare. Charlotte lives in Buckinghamshire with her husband and is enjoying being a grandmother.
